I went to Foran HS in Milford on Wednesday to take in Hand at Foran in Girls Softball
A cold day and a little rain later in the game.
Hand scored 2 runs in the top of the 1st, but that was all they would score in the game. Foran scored 1 run in the 3rd, 2 in the 4th ro take a 3-2 lead, and put it away with 5 runs in the 6th.
Final Score: Foran 8 Hand 2
For Foran, now 5-4, Abby Corris was the winning pitcher, allowing 6 hits and striking out 12; Maddie Deldin had 2 rbis, Nyla Jaser had 2 hits and an rbi, Abby Corris had 3 hits and scored a run
For Hand, now 3-4, Danielle Phelan had a single, double, and drove in both Hand runs
