The Little League World Series is set to begin in Williamsport, Penn. on Thursday.
The Opening Day schedule:
Mexico vs. Latin America
Fairfield, Conn. vs. Jackson, New Jersey 3pm
Canada vs. Europe-Africa
Michigan vs. Texas
This is a double elimination tournament.
The Conn. Open at Yale will start on Friday, Aug. 18 and run through Aug. 26th at the Conn. Tennis Center in New Haven.
High School Basketball News
Christian Adams(Hillhouse) and Tim Dawson(Notre Dame(WH)) have both decided to enroll at Hamden Hall. They join Byron Breland(Hillhouse) who has already enrolled at Hamden Hall.
