The Boston Red Sox lost to the Cleveland Indians 5-4 Monday night on a throwing error by Brock Holt in the bottom of the 9th inning. Andrew Benintendi and Hanley Ramirez had each hit 2 run Home Runs earlier in the game for Boston.
The Mets were beaten by the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2 in 10 innings at Citi Field. Michael Conforto homered for the Mets.
The Yankees had Monday off. They will begin a series in Detroit on Tuesday.
