Kansas Won't Have Star Center For Big 12 Tournament

Kansas will have to lock up a number-one seed in the NCAA Tournament without one of its best players. Jayhawks head coach Bill Self released a statement saying center Udoka Azubuike will not play in the Big 12 Tournament.  Azubuike suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee at practice on Tuesday.  The seven-footer averaged 13.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game during the regular season.

Kansas faces Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals at the Sprint Center in Kansas City on Thursday.
