Former MLB Pitcher Facing Federal Drug Charges

Former big-league pitcher Esteban Loaiza is in federal custody on drug charges.  He was hit with state counts after his arrest in San Diego last month, but the feds stepped in this week with a charge of cocaine possession with intent to deliver.  Loaiza could face a minimum sentence of ten years behind bars and a $10,000,000 fine if he's convicted.

The two-time All-Star reportedly made more than $40,000,000 while bouncing around among eight teams during his 13-year career.
