Rams Acquire CB Aqib Talib From Broncos

The Los Angeles Rams are staying busy on the trade market.  They acquired cornerback Aqib Talib from the Denver Broncos on Thursday for a fifth-round pick.  Talib will reunite with Rams defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, who held the same position in Denver in 2015 and 2016.  This is the fourth trade for the Rams this off-season after dealing linebacker Alec Ogletree to the Giants, defensive end Robert Quinn to the Dolphins and acquiring Marcus Peters from the Chiefs.  The Rams also signed free-agent cornerback Sam Shields on Thursday.  He has played just one game over the past two seasons because of head injuries.

Shields made the Pro Bowl with Green Bay in 2014.
