Meet Morris! 11 Month Old Boxer Mix Ready to Find His Forever Home!

Morris is ready to be your hiking buddy…your jogging coach…your yard inspector…anything where he can let out some energy and have fun! This boxer mix is only 11 months old, so he’s still in his puppyhood phase. He arrived at the Connecticut Humane Society when local animal control shelters brought pets for a pro bono spay/neuter day in CHS’ veterinary department. Then, Morris stayed at CHS for adoption. He’s been working with the CHS behavior team on his leash manners, as he’s very strong and excited.

Morris would love a family who has experience with large dogs who enjoys continuing training with their pup. He’d like to live with another dog, and if there are kids in the household, they should be 15 years old and up, given Morris’ excitement and size.

Visit CThumane.org/adopt for an online application, which can be found in each pet’s profile. CHS is a private organization with locations in Newington, Waterford and Westport and the reduced-fee Fox Memorial Clinic for owned pets, and is not affiliated with the government or any other animal welfare organizations. CHS’ work is made possible 100% through the generosity of donors.
