UCONN Women only honor one nation in the Big East.... DOMINATION! Their ticket was already punched, but a stellar 3-night performance from UCONN may grant them a top seed or at least an appearance close to home in Bridgeport.
A fantastic finish ended a fantastic season for Wesleyan in the D3 playoffs. They lost to RPI 59-58 this past weekend.
U-HART survives and advances in their final home American East game. Next year they will be out of the conference. The year after that they will be out of D1. The Hawks handled Albany to advance to the semifinals vs UMBC on Wednesday night.
Beginning their runs this week =
- The MAAC begins today and CT has 2 teams trying to survive
- #7 Fairfield takes on #10 Canisius at 7P
- #6 Marist will face #11 Quinnipiac at 9P
- New Haven University is in the D2 bracket. They begin Saturday vs St Anselm
- UCONN Men start the Big East tournament on Thursday vs the winner of Seton Hall and Georgetown.
