Renee's Adoptables: Meet Kena

Meet Kena!

Nine-month-old Kena is a playful and high energy kitten. Kena came to us from another cat rescue group in CT. Kena loves to play; she adores wand toys and could play with them for hours. She will do best in a home where she can get lots of exercise every day.

The family that Kena is looking for will need to have experience with active teenage cats that enjoy a cat with a rough play style (it's all in good fun!). While she hasn't had much experience with furry friends, she is willing to share her home with a furry friend. Kena will do well in a home with children over the age of ten. If you're ready to play all day with this active kitty, Kena is available in Newington.

About CT Humane Society

Way back in 1881, a Hartford High School senior named Gertrude O. Lewis wanted to find a way to help animals of Connecticut. She gathered support in her community – including some of Connecticut’s most prominent citizens of the time – and that very same year, Gertrude founded the Connecticut Humane Society.

And all these years later, the work continues. CHS is the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state, serving thousands of pets every year. As an independent nonprofit organization, CHS does not receive any funding from the government and is not associated with any national animal welfare groups. The pets rely solely on the generosity and support of donors and volunteers.
