MLB - Yankees/Red Sox Postponed Due to Positive COVID-19 Tests


In MLB Thursday night, the Yankees and Red Sox were postponed because of multiple positive COVID-19 tests on the Yankees. The 3 confirmed cases are all players.

Three other players - Kyle Higashioka, Gio Urshela, and Aaron Judge are also in COVID-19 protocols.

There is no makeup date yet for Thursday's postponement and no decision has been made on Friday's game.

Friday, the Mets will be in Pittsburgh against the Pirates.

The Chicago Cubs traded outfielder Joc Pederson to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for minor league 1st baseman Bryce Ball.

Luis Oosthuizen is the leader after the 1st of the British Open. Oosthuizen shot a 6 under par 64 and has a 1 shot lead over Jordan Spieth and Brian Harman.
