The rivalry between these 2 teams continues at Veterans Field in West Haven. They have had some classic battles over the years - some of which I've had the pleasure of Broadcasting.
Hand is 5-3 - and if they win their last 2 games (ND(WH) and Guilford) - the Tigers could be in the Post Season with a help from other teams - BUT - it is possible.
Notre Dame(WH) is 3-5, and here I go again, but I still think they are the best 3-5 team around.
Now if you're the Green Knights, wouldn't you like to dash any Playoff hopes for Hand. I would think so. And do you know, Notre Dame(WH) will be faced with the same scenario on Thanksgiving Day when they play Hamden in the Green Bowl.
The Green Knights can extinguish any Playoff hopes for Hand and Hamden in the next 6 days. It would be something to remember in this season.
This should be an all out Battle Royal Friday night.
