Yankees Swept, Astros/Phillies in World Series; NFL Giants, Jets Win

In MLB, the Yankees were swept by the Astros in 4 straight games, losing 6-5 on Sunday. Houston heads to the World Series to take on the Philadelphia Phillies.

Houston scored the game winning runs in the 7th inning, aided by a Yankee error from Gleyber Torres. Houston is 7-0 in Postseason Play. The Yankees have not been to the World Series since 2009.

The Phillies beat the Padres 4-3 in the NLCS, taking the Series 4-1.

Bryce Harper hit a game winning 2 run Home Run in the 8th inning for the Phillies.

It's the Phillies and the Astros in the World Series beginning on Friday in Houston.

NFL

The Giants defeated the Jaguars 23-17 to improve to 6-1 on the season.Giants QB Daniel Jones was 19 for 30 for 202 yards and a touchdown. Jones also rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown.

The Jets beat the Broncos 16-9 in Denver. Jets QB Zach Wilson was 16 for 26 for 121 yards. The Jets are 5-2.
