The High School Football Season was extended to Monday because of the weather on Saturday.
However, 1 Championship was played - and kudos to those who decided to play the game - in my mind all 4 Championship Games could have been played if they started at 10:00am.
Such however, was not the case.
The 1 Title Game that was played was the Class LL Game - Darien vs. Greenwich.
The Blue Wave of Darien won the game 31-22 for their 3rd straight State Championship.
So there are 3 games left to be played on Monday.
My featured Broadcast will be the Class S Championship Game - Ansonia(12-0) vs. St. Joseph(11-1) 6:25pm on News Radio 960, 960WELI.com & iheartradio.
The other 2 Championship Games
Class L Masuk vs. Hand 6:30pm at Trumbull High School
Class M Joel Barlow vs. Killingly 6:30pm at Veterans Stadium in New Britain
All 3 games are outstanding matchups and should be great games.
Don't forget to follow the Video of the Game on the 960WELI Facebook Page when we go Facebook Live. All the Video provided by Henry Bien-Aime.
