Neil Walker hit a 3 run Home Run that helped the Yankees beat the Red Sox 3-2 at Yankee Stadium Tuesday night. Walker's Home Run was given up by Red Sox reliever Ryan Brasier. The Yankees lead in the Wild Card Race grew to 2 1/2 games over Oakland as the the Athletics were beaten by the Angels 9-7.
The Mets lost to the Phillies 5-2. Philadelphia scored all 5 runs in the 6th inning. Mets Pitcher Steven Matz hit a Home Run.
