Weather Could be a Factor in Sunday Semifinals

The weather forecast is not looking favorable for the State Tournament Football Semifinals on Sunday. The rain, they say, will start Saturday night and stretch into Sunday morning. But by that time, the fields could be in sad shape - at the least real grass fields. Monday calls for great weather, so I'm wondering if some or all the games will be played on Monday. It will still give the teams the necessary 4 days off between games, since the Championships are on Saturday, December 8th.

My next Broadcast as of now is Sunday   12:25pm Class S Bloomfield at Ansonia on News Radio 960, 960WELI.com & iHeartradio

Remember, you can WATCH the game, with the Audio Play by Play, by going to 960WELI.com, go to the On Air Column, click on it, and then click on High School Sports. Or you can watch it on the 960WELI Facebook Page. The great Video is provided by Henry Bien-Aime.
