In MLB Monday, the Yankees completed a 3 game sweep of the Twins, winning 5-1 in Minnesota. Gleyber Torres homered and had 2 doubles and Cameron Maybin homered as well for the Yankees. New York advances to the ALCS.
In the other ALDS, the Tampa Bay Rays stayed alive beating the Houston Astros 10-3. Houston leads the Best of 5 Series 2--1. Game 4 is in Tampa on Tuesday night.
In the NLDS, the Cardinals staved off elimination beating Atlanta 5-4 in 10 innings. The Series is tied 2-2. Game 5 is in Atlanta Wednesday.
The Nationals also stayed alive defeating the Dodgers 6-1 at Nationals Park. That Series is also tied 2-2. Game 5 is in Los Angeles Wednesday.
